Creative Growth
Our theme for the blog this spring is Creative Growth. At Path with Art, we foster healing through arts engagement and community-building. Participants tell us that making art can help reduce feelings of isolation, can give purpose and meaning, allows for creative self-expression, foster confidence-building, and provides an outlet for processing emotions. We know that individual healing and self-expression can also have a larger impact. We all influence our communities and the transformation of the individual can also bring about collective or community growth. We are stronger together and want to uplift each other in positive transformations, healing, art-making, and creativity.
The pandemic has forced us all to change. Our entire world has been deeply impacted in ways we were not anticipating. We have gone through a collective metamorphosis in response––and at the same time––we have all experienced individual change.
As we enter into the spring season, we are reflecting on these themes and invite you to submit to the blog on this theme of Creative Growth. How have you grown in your own art practice? What have you been learning and how has that been impacting your creative practice? What has grown around you that has been influential?
As we reflect on the theme of Creative Growth, these words continue to resonate:
- Renewal
- Resilience
- Blossoming
- Transformation
- Nurturing
- Self-care
