I took 2 classes this quarter.  Exploring Self Through Art (I may have the title incorrect) and printmaking.   As I got closer to finishing the exploration of self I realized that the print I wanted to make would work right into the piece.  

Kay Feather Artist Statement

I am on a journey to connect to the source. This piece has the constellation Ursula Major punched into a calendar page. Behind this is rice lights so that the stars show through. The prints I made are from a dream image repeated in the print and used to frame it. In the lower left corner is an image from another calendar representing me gazing into the stars-seeking self.
